"The Solar Stik™ is a 'must-have' for anyone planning an extended cruise."

 - HUNTER MARINE (Knotlines - Spring 2007)

Schooner Mistress utilizes twin Solar Stiks™ on her stern

Are you considering an Arch for your vessel?  For many cruisers, the features of an Arch are highly desirable, but the cost and space constraints usually restrict Arches to large vessels and big budgets.

Introducing the Solar Stik™, the new multi-faceted mounting system designed for vessels from 20-70 feet.

SOLUTIONS

The Solar Stik™ utilizes a small installation footprint, and allows for the placement of multiple components such as 12VDC power generating equipment (wind & solar), GPS, radar, various antennas, and more to a single location without monopolizing deck space or cockpit canvas structures.

The Mast assembly is even strong enough to support a light-duty lifting crane for small dinghy motors, gear, or provisions.  The total installed weight of the marine system is usually no more than 70-80 lbs.

Incorporated into the construction of the Solar Stik™ is a 100 watt solar panel array.  The unique construction of the system provides three axes of movement to optimize the amount of direct sunlight exposure on its two 50 watt panels.  With as little as two to three manual adjustments daily, you can increase the time of daily solar power generation “from dawn until dusk.”  Maximum power production is usually about 80 amp-hours per day for a vessel from the solar panels alone, and if the new Solar Stik™ Air-X Kit is employed, power production may average 125 Amp-hours or more.

Additionally, it assembles and breaks down very rapidly when conditions warrant.  This is a key feature for sailors who have deck configurations that prohibit the installation of a traditional solar array, or who only need solar power while at anchor.  (Did you know that 90% of cruisers spend 90% of their time at anchor?)

VERSATILE

The Solar Stik™ has one other feature that truly defines it.  The same Solar Stik™ that is on the back of a boat can be used on land as a portable power generator for the home, RV, or even tailgating at a major sporting event!  Several accessories are available for the Solar Stik™ to tailor it to use on land in nearly any application where a portable gasoline generator is used.

The same Solar Stik™ can be used on both land and sea

DURABLE

The Solar Stik™ is robustly built to withstand the elements of the open ocean and has withstood rigorous blue-water testing for the last eight years.  Constructed of aircraft-grade aluminum and stainless steel, it is available as a Deck Mount or Transom Mount system and installs to nearly any vessel’s stern.  Installation can usually be performed in just 3-4 hours.

The Solar Stik™ System is an internationally patented system and is made in the U.S.A.  It is designed as a one-time purchase and has a 25 year power-output warranty, and a five-year materials and workmanship warranty.

The Solar Stik™ Marine System is sold as a complete package and includes mounting hardware and a Solar Boost™ 2000E digital MPPT charge control.

If you want the freedom to go where you want to, without having to plan for refueling locations, costs, and without having to deal with generator noise, fumes and maintenance, the Solar Stik™ is the ultimate solution.  Return to the dock because you want to, not because you have to.

Here on this website you will find downloadable installation manuals, dimensional drawings, and more.  The website was established as an information resource that will help you determine if a Solar Stik™ is right for your particular vessel.

The Technical Support Division is even available on weekends for those weekend project warriors.
