The Solar Stik™ 360 Breeze can be used for applications requiring power generation in remote areas, or in environments where the sun may not be as prevalent as wind. The 360 Breeze incorporates portability and adaptability, along with TWO truly independent power sources, to provide power for nearly any application.
It is a Solar-Wind Hybrid DC Generator, designed to provide maximum solar power using basic operational principles:
- Cooler Panel Operation Temperatures: Solar Stik™ Panel Arms allow full air flow around the panel surface, allowing it to operate cooler than a traditional “flat” or “surface” mounted array.
- Direct Sunlight: The Panel Arms can be adjusted to provide maximum direct sunlight exposure onto the panel surface… more direct sunlight means more power generation!
- Supplemental Wind Generation: If there is wind, there is power! Wind is an excellent supplemental power source, and augments the power generated by the solar array.
In the right conditions, the Solar Stik™ Breeze can reliably generate up to 3.0 kW-h of daily energy with three panel adjustments during the daytime hours and a steady 10 MPH of wind.
Portable
It is engineered as a compact design that allows for easy storage, rapid deployment, and secure transport insideTWO custom Pelican™ cases.
Rugged Design
The Solar Stik™ superstructure is constructed of aircraft-grade T6061 Aluminum (aircraft-grade) and stainless steel. It is designed to withstand the most extreme conditions on earth for over 25 years. The Panels can handle severe stressing including high wind or hail impact, and the Breeze Wind Generator will self-protect in wind speeds over 40 MPH.
Once fully assembled, the Solar Stik™ 360 Breeze weighs 140 lbs. Every removable component is leashed to prevent loss. The system can be used in the harshest of environments, and deployed for an hour or a week without regard for the weather.
All Solar Stiks™ are Field-Serviceable, and require very little maintenance or upgrades to keep them functional.
Adaptable
While a “solar generator” at its core, The 360 Breeze can be adapted to a multitude of roles using Solar Stik™ Accessory Kits. Accessorizing allows the operator to augment or tailor the Stik™ to a specific application using added features including Wind Power, Masts & Mast Mounts (for supporting additional equipment such as cameras), Ground Securing, System Expansion Cables, Power Management Options, and more.
Expandable
All Solar Stiks™ are interchangeable and scalable. They can be daisy-chained for increased power generation or to provide enhanced capabilities, allowing the operator to configure multi-faceted system.
Operation
Assembly of the Solar Stik™ 360 Breeze can be performed by two people in under 15 minutes, requires no tools or special knowledge, and all connections are “Plug & Play”!
Solar Stiks™ have two axes of rotation that allow for maximum solar panel power production. The panels can be rotated on both horizontal and vertical axes.
Three daily panel adjustments of the 360 watt solar panel array will yield a tremendous power gain over a static position. The average maximum daily energy production from solar power is about 2.5 kW-h, but depending on location and conditions, may occasionally exceed 2.7 kW-h.
The Solar Stik™ 360 Breeze will work with any Solar Stik™ Accessory that has a “Solar Only” power receptacle. and a “Wind/Load/24VDC” Inter-connect Port and is of equivalent operating voltage.

- The solar panel power graph represents the performance of BP 4180W panels mounted on Solar Stik™ assembly. Full daily power production is based on a minimum of three solar panel adjustments daily, and clear environmental conditions.
- During the stabilization process that occurs during the first few months of deployment, module power may decrease by up to 3% from trypical Pmax.

The generator manufacturer recently performed HALT (highly accelerated life testing) on the AIR turbine which basically tests the turbine to failure. The test procedure is designed to replicate years of “field” exposure. The turbine finally failed at -50 F and 155 F. Even though the turbine is not rated to those extremes by IEC, the HALT results prove the turbine can withstand temperature extremes.
