Reduce Generator Burden!

When a Solar Stik™ System is employed, the battery becomes the primary power storage facility… It creates a “high efficiency” electrical circuit where power flows into and out of the batteries only as is necessary to keep the load operating continuously.  It also allows for the inclusion of “free” power from sources such as solar and wind. Traditional sources of power such as fuel-driven generators can also be used in support of the batteries, but they require external power management devices to make them work.

The MEP-831A Tactical Quiet Generator (TQG) Modification Kit allows a Solar Stik™ PRO-Verter 3000™ to control a 3kW TQG in support of a battery system.

A PRO-Verter™ regulates TQG operation, ensuring every drop of fuel consumed to generate power is optimally used.  The generator will operate at 100% of its rated output, and all of the generated power is either used by the load or stored in the batteries as ‘potential’ energy for later use.  

Operating the TQG intermittently at rated power also eliminates wet stacking, and lessens the need for fuel resupplies in remote locations.
