The Portable Remote Operation Inverter/Charger (P.R.O. Verter™) 2400MS provides any Solar Stik™ System with an additional method of storing DC power from an AC power source into Power Paks.
The PRO-Verter™ 2400MS is a powerful solution that addresses three situations:
1. Solar Stik™ System is used where an existing AC power supply is intermittently available (such as an inconsistent power grid or fuel-driven generator).
2. The reduction of fuel-driven generator “run-time” is necessary, either due to the lack of fuel or to lessen the cost burden of operating the generator.
3. The Solar Stik™ System is used where power requirements may exceed the System’s daily power generation, requiring the use of a supplemental power source such as a traditional fuel-driven generator.
The PRO-Verter™ turns the entire Solar Stik™ System into an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) and allows the operator to store power from additional AC sources.
The PRO-Verter™ 2400MS connects between the Power Pak and existing AC power supply, with the system loads or appliances connected to the PRO-Verter’s™ twin AC receptacles.
When AC power is available from the grid or from a generator, the PRO-Verter™ passes that power through to the connected appliances, while simultaneously operating as a 55 amp battery charger, storing power into Power Paks.
When the AC power source fails, the PRO-Verter™ automatically switches itself from a battery-charger to a 2400 Watt inverter, instantly drawing power that is stored in the Power Paks and providing it to the connected appliances.
The PRO-Verter™ provides “Plug & Play” operation with any Power Pak or Expander Pak, and it is also available in any power model. (230V AC/50HZ or 120V AC/60HZ please specify when ordering).
