Power Pak Auxiliary Circuit Jumper Cable

Item # 005097

Power Pak Auxiliary Circuit Jumper CableNOTE:  THE AUXILIARY JUMPER KIT IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR POWER PAKS MODELS CONSTRUCTED THROUGH THE 2010 MODEL YEAR

If the Mil-Series or Pro-Series Power Pak™ is being used in a stand-alone (un-monitored) application that requires less than 300 Watts, the Programmable Auxiliary Circuit can be used to control all DC power connections on the Power Pak (interior & exterior including Inter-connector Ports).

The Auxiliary Circuit Jumper Cable is used to connect the Auxiliary Circuit to the main DC power bus (located inside the Pak) by back-feeding its power through the main DC Post Terminals. The main circuit breaker is bypassed, and the available current is limited by the maximum power available through the Aux circuit.

The 100A circuit breaker in the Power Pak MUST remain in the “off” position so that the Auxiliary Circuit can control the loads.

This configuration allows the operator to program the Aux circuit to behave as a “Low Voltage Battery Disconnect”.

Disconnecting the load from the battery at “Low-Voltage” value (programmed by the operator) prevents the Power Pak from over-discharging.

Up to 300 Watts to be accessed from the Pak’s exterior DC connections, allowing the case lid to be closed to protect the Pak’s interior components.
