The Power Pak Battery is designed for the toughest environments, and can handle everything from extreme temperatures to severe vibration… but at some point, they will require replacement. All Solar Stik™ Power Paks are designed for easy field service. Depending on the application, batteries can be changed at predetermined intervals, or only as necessary.  

The Solar Stik™ Battery Service Kit provides the operator with twin replacement Power Pak batteries, a terminal removal tool, and a full color picture guide that demonstrates the procedure.  The replacement AGM batteries are compatible with all 12V DC or 24V DC Power Pak models.  

Battery replacement can usually be performed by one person in less than one hour using basic tools.

All Solar Stik™ batteries are sealed VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) type. They are D.O.T. certified safe for land, sea, and air transport.

The replacement kits also include reusable packaging, which allows you to send in your old batteries to have them recycled.

CAUTION:  When storing ANY Lead-Acid battery, be sure to store it fully charged.  If a Power Pak Service Kit is being purchased for future battery replacement, it WILL need to be charged occasionally. It is recommended that the Battery Pal (Item # 005052) also be purchased to ensure proper maintenance occurs.
