The Marine 100 System was the genesis of the five principles of design found in every Solar Stik System. The Marine 100 was developed to provide sailors autonomy when away from shore power. Using two 50-watt photovoltaic panels and a mast with socket configuration, the portable system can be adjusted to optimize panel angle toward the sun, making it adaptable to changing conditions. The optional wind turbine allows the system to be scaled to meet additional power requirements. Harsh marine environments required the Marine 100 System to be durable in all conditions. With hundreds of systems providing power to sailors worldwide—and the original Marine 100 System still in use today—this system sets the standard for all Solar Stik Systems.
The Solar Stik Marine 100 System is available with two mounting options: Deck Mount and Transom Mount. The shape of the vessel’s stern and the space available are two determining factors in selecting the best mounting option for the vessel. Each Marine 100 System includes two 50 W panels, the mount, and an MPPT solar charge controller.
