Battery MSDS:

Power Pak Lead-acid batteries pass all of the indicated transportation safety certification tests and are marked “Nonspillable” as required by the US and International regulations, qualifying them for exception from transport restrictions.

DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING REGULATIONS: “Northstar Battery Company products, submitted and tested by Wyle Labs, have been deemed to meet all requirements as specified in 49CFR§ 173.159 (d) for exception as hazardous material classification.”

The Marine Manuals have Marine System Dimensional Drawings in them. Although designed with the Mariner in mind, the Transom Mount and the Deck Mount Systems may be used in other applications beyond the scope of the marine market.
