Solar Stik™ Setup
Setting up a Solar Stik™ - a Photo Essay
The Solar Stik™ is designed to be assembled in stages, in accordance with the role or application:
Stage One - The “Nano”
The Nano is deployed as a simple solar power generator. It is typically used in applications where only solar power is required.

Stage Two - The “Terra” or “Breeze”
The Terra is used where the Solar Stik™ is used to physically support additional equipment such as surveillance, lighting, and communication aerials.
The Breeze is used is used when the operator can harness wind power as a as either a supplement to the solar panels or as a primary power source in high wind environments.

Stage Three - Connecting the Solar Stik™ to an Application
Once assembled, the Solar Stik™ can be connected to an application using power leashes.

Once the Solar Stik™ has been set up, simply connect it to a RV, Boat, Work-Trailer, Remote Cabin, or use it as a stand-alone generator for Remote Construction sites, Disaster Relief Operations, Military Operations, or even Tailgating!
As the following pictorial demonstrates that system setup can be performed by one person in usually less than ten minutes.

Solar Stik™ Maintenance
While very little maintenance is required on the entire Solar Stik™ and mounting unit, there are a few things that the owner can do to keep the Solar Stik™ in top condition.
-
A corrosion inhibitive lubricant should be applied to all moving parts and joints regularly.
-
Regular visual inspection of the electrical connections, receptacles, mast, lifting and support arms, solar panels and mount (tripod/transom) is recommended.
-
Keep the Solar Stik™ clean. Dirty panels mean less production of electricity.
Power on the Move!
