The Power Pak - an Overview

The Scout Pak is a well-engineered & cost-effective portable power station, designed specifically to support multiple rechargeable appliances such as laptop computers, lighting, tactical gear, radios, cell phones, and more. AC or DC power is available from the User Interface, and the six 12VDC receptacles can handle multiple appliances at once.

The SCOUT Pak can provide 12VDC power while simultaneously connected to the Solar Panels, or independently. Weatherproof 12VDC receptacles mounted externally provide access to power when the case is closed due to inclement weather, or simply as a matter of convenience if the operator is in a hurry. Once the internal AGM battery bank is charged, the power can be transferred to appliances as necessary.

Allows deployment of the User Interface at a convenient location rather than adjacent to the Solar Panels in direct sunlight

12 Volt DC Adapter allows for a single panel to be removed from the Pak and used directly with an appliance. This is important for field-operation where "versatility" is paramount.

Independent Operation – once fully charged, the Power Pak can supply power anytime through its 12VDC receptacles

The 60 Watt Flexi-Panel Expander Pak provides a Y-connector leash and PowerFilm™ 60 Watt that can be added to the SCOUT Pak. The addition of a third solar panel (shown below) provides the operator with 180 Watts of power, boosting the daily power gain to nearly 50 Amp hours

The SCOUT Pak has a 3 year “materials and workmanship” and a 5 year “power output” warranty

If you already have a solar panel array, and need a battery-based system to make the power usable, then the SCOUT Pak can be pre-configured at the factory for your particular panel system.

Notify customer service when ordering that you need the POWER PAK 30 instead of the SCOUT Pak, and have your panel type available.
